Wicked
I did this painting based on the novel Wicked by Gregory Maguire. I recently finished the book, and wanted to do some art based on the story. This one shows the main character Elphaba, the wicked witch of the west, making her way through the stormy streets of the Emerald City of Oz.

Just one thing...in the novel, I believe she has a severe (potentialy fatal) allergy to water. This seems more based on the musical where the whole water thing was just an invented myth.
